Lori founded Litherland & Company in 1993 with a focus on recruiting in agriculture. With a lifelong interest in the fields of psychology, motivation, leadership and achievement, she is known for inspiring candidates and captivating audiences. Lori has great instincts when it comes to finding and securing the right talent, with a record of successful searches and client relationships.

Lori holds a CHRP and Certificate in Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto. As a lifelong learner, she recently attended Rotman's Strategic Negotiations Program and is currently enrolled in the CFAME program for executives within the Agri-Food sector. She enjoys traveling, curling, fine art and escaping to her cottage to kayak.

Brook brings a unique business development background to the executive search business. His energetic approach, analytical mindset, and Agri-business knowledge allow him to adapt and respond to the needs of our client’s intermediate and senior level searches.

 

His primary focus is consulting with our private sector and grower commission clients across Canada. Brook has also positioned Litherland & Company to work with new entrants to the Canadian market focused on innovative biological and precision agriculture technologies.

 

When Brook is not on the phones connecting with and placing Agriculture professionals, he can be found strategizing on a pitcher’s mound, defending a blue line or exploring Canada with his family, friends and Australian Shepherd Keira.

As the most recent addition to our team at Litherland & Company, Emily was hired as a Research Assistant in early 2018 and quickly transitioned to an Associate after polishing her research, database and market analysis skills. Emily is focused on searches at the intermediate level-working closely with our agri-business and biotech clients. She brings strong presentation skills and an affable communication style to her work, which has made her an excellent Associate to work with.

Emily holds a BSc in Environmental Biology and MSc in Plant Agriculture from the University of Guelph. She enjoys running, reading mystery novels and watching The Office.

Brock joined Litherland & Company in 2015 and helps everyone stay organized, has advanced researching skills, performs administrative functions and enjoys reading up on current agriculture industry trends. He is also our in-house technical support guru and helps troubleshoot IT glitches. Brock continues to attend online tutorials to keep us up to speed and is currently taking a social media course at George Brown College.

Brock recently completed his Bachelors of Business Administration at Brock University. In his spare time, he enjoys watching hockey, exercising and learning about WWII history.
